ABOUT ALLY

I am a Cordon Bleu qualified Chef and teacher with 20 years of professional experience in both of these areas. I am passionate about teaching kids to cook from scratch, to give them the life skills they need to feed themselves nourishing food which is also delicious!

With my two littles keeping me on my toes constantly, I fit in my teaching (online and in person), supper clubs, afternoon teas and catering events around them as much as I can. I love to include them in discovering food and am excited to share everything I have learnt on my journey so far with you.

I love to grow my own fruit and veggies, keep hens and bees and spend time learning about old fashioned cooking skills like cheese making, curing, fermenting and sourdough to make sure they can be passed on to our children.

Everyone can cook (even if you think you're not good - mostly I expect you are your own worst critic!) and with a little guidance, a good recipe and lots of love, care and attention you will create something delicious to enjoy together with your family. Food, connection, family, nourishment for the body, mind and soul.
